A Downtown Tokyo Photo Tour can be so many different photo ops.  Very often, our Japan Dreamscapes (JDS) Photo Tour Leaders will allocate at least a few days either before or after a Hokkaido Wildlife Photo Tour to explore one of Tokyo’s 23 Districts.  In some cases, the photo workshop guides want to re-examine the Shibuya Pedestrian Crossing and photograph the sea of humanity as modern-day samurais carefully stride among thousands of others returning from work or taking a much needed break.  Sometimes they are in a Shinjuku kind of mood - the glitter of the neon signs as the sun sets or the metallic shine of the robots at Shinjuku’s famous Robot Bar.  Each photographic subject means a different experience.  Another of the 23 districts that always commands attention is the Ginza.  Ginza’s opulence makes for amazing photo ops, and if your goal is people watching and capturing the most stunning fashion trends in Asia and all over the world with your camera, Ginza is right for you.

Because Tokyo is such a massive photographic enterprise, you may feel at a loss for where to go to capture the type of photos you are most interested in taking.  Leave that to us at JDS.  Once you contact us with your photographic interests, we will suggest an itinerary that best serves you.  Constantly chasing the light in Tokyo has its advantages, and we at JDS are happy to share those advantages with you.

On one evening Tokyo Photo Tour, while leading a Tokyo Private Photo Tour, our photo workshop guide saw an opportunity he couldn’t resist.  The interwoven architecture above the city street with the perfect amount of traffic lights seem to accent the urban magnificence of one of Tokyo’s 23 districts.  This moment in photography will never come again, but the record of that specific moment will remain forever.  Our goal is to give you the opportunity for you to create an unforgettable photography experience while visiting Japan.
